Terms of sale
Plain-language terms for buying from BUILT. Specific build, warranty and lead time are confirmed on order.
Contract
Orders are placed directly with us by phone or email. Your order is confirmed — and a contract formed — when we confirm price and availability in writing and your payment or deposit is received. Deposits on bespoke e-bikes reserve a build slot; balance is due before dispatch or collection unless finance is agreed separately.
Prices
Prices on the site are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We may correct obvious errors before accepting payment.
How to buy
Call 07939 433154 or email ride.built@gmail.com to buy or reserve. We confirm the exact spec, price and payment details with you directly before anything is taken.
- Reserve — a £250 deposit secures a premium bike or build slot; we arrange the balance with you directly.
- Finance — available on eligible bikes; agreed with us directly before or after you reserve.
Delivery & collection
Collection from our Grimsby workshop is free — every bike is built, PDI-checked and set up for you before handover. Delivery is available by arrangement at cost: we agree the method, price and timing with you before dispatch. Call 07939 433154 to arrange.
Cancellations & returns
Distance sales: where UK consumer law applies, you may have a 14-day right to cancel on qualifying goods; bespoke builds and used items may be excluded — we will confirm in writing.
Deposits: if you cancel before we order a bespoke build, we will refund the deposit minus reasonable costs already incurred; if parts are ordered, deposit terms will be stated on your order confirmation.

Warranty
Manufacturer warranty applies where stated. We support warranty claims for bikes we sell. Wear, misuse and unauthorised modification are excluded.
Emoto & high-power products
You are responsible for using vehicles lawfully on public roads (licensing, insurance, registration and equipment rules). We confirm specification and compliance steps before you order.
Liability
Nothing here limits your statutory rights. Our liability for loss is limited to the purchase price except where law requires otherwise.
